I can't restore materials when transferring files to a different PC using folder copy. - CLIP STUDIO ASK (2)

I am trying to transfer my PC to Windows 11. I have a 3.0 one-time license.

https://support.clip-studio.com/ja-jp/faq/articles/20190152

I copied the folder according to the procedure here and followed the procedure

- Install ClipstudioPaint 3.0 on the new PC
- Check startup > License authentication (OK)
- Delete the contents of CELSYS on the new PC
- Copy the original folder

When I started it after that, only the brushes looked the same, but nothing appeared in the material window. There was nothing, including my own materials.

However, the CLIPStudioCommon folder, which should contain the materials, is 13GB in both the source and destination, and the size is the same, so the copy did not fail.

Also, after that, when I restored the app settings from CLIPSTUDIO, "re-downloading materials" started, and it started downloading a huge amount of materials, so I waited until it was finished, but even when I started it after it was finished, there was nothing in the material window. (Only the workspace was restored)

I tried the same procedure twice (uninstalling and installing), but the situation did not change.

Even when I search, I can't find any information other than "follow the official procedure," so if anyone has any idea what to do, please let me know.

I am a user of Windows 10, Crysta Paint Grade EX, V 3.0.4 (update plan).

    >・Delete the contents of CELSYS on the new PC
    >・Copy the original folder

The result of "delete contents" is unclear.

When Crysta starts, if there is no CELSYS folder in the specified location, it will create an initial CELSYS folder.

When copying the original folder, the initial CELSYS folder is deleted or moved, and the original folder is copied when it is not in that location.

That's right, it is not a topcoat copy, but a replacement of the CELSYS folder.

When you start Crysta for the first time after copying the original folder, it will not create the initial CELSYS folder, but will use the copy of the original folder.

    This is my own memo.

    Please check the procedure again.

*Please double-check the location of the CELSYS folder in the user data on the new PC.

[PC migration] > : Example of a Windows environment

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The data related to the app is as follows.

[Data related to the app] Including programs
01: Programs for the app itself → Default storage location: C:\Program Files
02: User data for the app itself (settings and materials)
    Default storage location: C:\Users\(user name)\Documents\CELSYS (before V1.10.13)
    or C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\CELSYSUserData\CELSYS (after V1.10.13)
03: If changes have been made to the "save location for materials"
The "save location for materials" has been changed in the settings of CLIP STUDIO (not PAINT).
▼Let's say there is an "A" folder in the X drive where materials are saved.
04: Works you have created (illustrations, manga) Default storage location: Any folder (direct reading and writing is internal storage)
[Migration process] is limited to between similar OS. (Be careful when switching from Windows to MAC and from MAC to Windows!)
To transfer apps and the environment (settings, materials, etc.) from your old PC to your new PC, do the following.

    - Replace the following user data (settings and materials) in Clip Studio Paint with CELSYS (default initial folder) on your new PC.
*Replace: do not copy over the existing data!
    Default storage location: C:\Users\(user name)\Documents\CELSYS (before V1.10.13)
    or C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\CELSYSUserData\CELSYS (V1.10.13 and later)
*If the folder is set as a "hidden file" (not displayed), make it "visible."

・If changes have been made to the "Material save location"

▼If you have changed the material save destination to a folder called "A" on the X drive:

Copy the [CLIPStudioCommon] folder that you copied to the X drive of your old PC to your new PC.

Example: If the save destination was set to the "A" folder on the X drive on your old PC,

Create an "A" folder on the X drive of your new PC as well, and copy the [CLIPStudioCommon] folder into it.

▼If your PC's drive configuration is different → Reset the "Material save location" to its original state.

    1. Copy the [Document] and [Material] folders from the [CLIPStudioCommon] folder that you copied

to the [CELSYS]→[CLIPStudioCommon] folder on your new PC.

    2. Delete the [Preference] folder in [CLIPStudioCommon] on your PC.

The next time you start up Clip Studio Paint, the [Preference] folder should be initially generated.
    3. The "Material storage location" has now been left unchanged.
If you want to transfer materials to another drive in the future, please change the "Material storage location" in CLIP STUDIO (not PAINT) settings
         to a new location.

    - Copy your original works (illustrations, manga) to the new PC.
(The folder structure of the storage location for works should be the same as the old PC, and should be internal storage)

    - In CLIP STUDIO (not PAINT), go to Settings → Maintenance menu → Rebuild material database

The storage location of the "CELSYS folder" also changes depending on the installation method.
In my case, I did a continuous install (overwrite, not a new install!), so even with V 3.0.2 the storage location remains "V 1.10.13 or earlier".
