This place is a serious disaster!!! I’ve been taking my clothes to Pauls for about 3 months. I bought a new pair of Calvin Klein pants light grey with a slight shimmer and they totally ruined them. I asked for dry clean only, and they totally washed them giving my pants a hard gritty feel with a wrinkled fade finished as if they were sitting for a while, bunched up, before put into a dryer. When I told them about the issue the old lady acted like she couldn’t speak or understand English. The asain lady then offered to re clean them as if I was incompetent enough to believe that re cleaning them would solve the problem. The spanish attendant repeated everything I said ver batum to her to translate!!! Then she said I would have to speak with the owner as if I didn’t know she was the owner already. When husband owner finally called me he was extremely rude, telling me thats how the pants are and its the manufacturer’s fault that the pants faded (which I never stated to him). He then went on to say that he has been in business for 30+ years and I don’t know what Im talking about and hung the phone up in my face!!! One would think after 30 yrs of cleaning you would be able to do so without ruining customer’s articles of clothing and losing the collar stays of button up shirts. Totally un professional, was able to use the restroom in the back and there were collar stays all over the floor!!! I was so pissed! Thy obviously are burned out and do not care about customer’s clothing or their business! I am ready to sign a petition or whatever it takes to exile Pauls from the Greenhaven area and bring in a new dry cleaners that has proper customer service!!!

I tried to give this place another change but the owner «PAUL» did not even apologize about the overprice he charged me instead of the discount for a coupon in the neighborhood mailer. He kept saying, «We no use coupon!» He yells, is rude, and very very unprofessional.
AVOID THIS PLACE AS BEST AS YOU CAN!!!
BIG RIPOFF and They can’t even speak English well.

I recently moved to this neighborhood and this was my first experience with Paul’s Cleaners. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I gave them $ 80.00 worth of business and I will not go back.
While getting ready for work I realized that the suit I had decided to wear that morning looked like a mess. I realized that whoever at Paul’s Cleaners pressed my suit did a LOUSY JOB.
I took it back to them and the asian lady acted like it was no big deal. She looked at me as if I was the problem. She said it would be 20 mins.
After having wasted my time, she comes out with it and doesn’t even bother to put it back in the plastic cover. So, I asked her to do it.
Save yourself double trips to the dry cleaners and don’t go to Paul’s Cleaners.
I hope my review helps someone.

This place is horrible! Customer service is lacking. Do not trust them with your clothing. Rude and bitter!

This place doesn’t deserve a star! THEY SUCK! The ONLY reason why I’m even giving this place a star is because I have to! I hope they go out of business ASAP… let me tell you why:
The ruined a very nice scarf and denied it.
They didn’t get the stains (yes, stains. plural) off the suit we brought in.
The machine they used pulled off one button on the suit, and instead of telling us what happened, they did a horrible job trying to cover it up! When confronted, they yelled at US, telling us that it came that way. Umm, look at how the rest of the buttons are sewed on you moron… the button YOU messed up, YOU or YOUR STAFF sewed it back the wrong way!
HORRIBLE customer service. Won’t apologize.
Will ALWAYS tell you it’s your fault.
Bottom line: If you want your clothes to look like crap and you want to be blamed for what THEY did wrong, go here.
I’m done :)

I have been taking my clothes to Paul’s Cleaners for a long time with no problems and great service. However, this past weekend I received my suit back from Paul’s Cleaners with a tear in it. When I brought my suit back and explained my situation, the owner told me that the rip was already there and I need to take him to small claims court.
Instead of wasting my time with small claims court, I decided that I would post my experience. I personally will never use Paul’s Cleaners.
If you decide to take your clothes here, please be careful because if something goes wrong, they will not help you.
**** UPDATE ****
One of my friends was looking at my suit and discovered that Paul’s Cleaners sewed a new button onto my suit near the tear. WOW!!! This makes me angry!!! They had the nerve to accuse me of tearing my suit when they knew all along it was their mistake!!!

Not too impressed. My husband and I drove all the way up from Stockton on the strength of someone’s recommendation that their tailors knew how to alter Marine Corps dress blues, as well as sew on the appropriate insignias, service stripes and blood stripes. They were fast, I’ll give them that. But two weeks later when my husband went to wear them, he realized that when the seamstress attatched the blood stripes she sewed them all the way through over the top of the pockets, so there was no longer a «pocket». Rookie move. I’m not sure exactly how much we paid for *that* portion of it… as the trousers were hemmed on them as well. He also had the sleeves of the blouse shortened and rank insignias and service stripes attached. They also hemmed a formal gown of mine at the same time. In total, we paid $ 100. It only took three days, but like I said… sewing the trouser pockets shut was pretty sloppy work, in my humble opinion. Not to mention, the alteration lady was flat rude… I would not bother to use them again.

I’m giving this place one star because they are quick and decently priced. But I will never bring anything here anymore after they ruined by cashmere scarf and didn’t even take the stains off my suit! There were still stains on the sleeves and buttons! I will definitely be looking for another place to get my dry cleaning done.

WARNING: TERRIBLE SERVICE & THEY RUIN YOUR CLOTHES. DO NOT GO HERE!
I used to go here for alterations, but that was years ago. So I thought I could take in my dry cleaning here. I made the BIGGEST mistake.
I brought in 2 jcrew sweaters, and when I got them back, they didn’t even seem clean. They had human hairs intertwined into them as well as pet hair. It was disgusting. On top of that, all of my buttons were scratched and one was BROKEN IN HALF. and they DIDN’T even have the decency to tell me. They had buttoned it up and folded it as if nothing happened, and it was OBVIOUS that the button was broken when you ran your finger over it. My other sweater has buttons with rhinestones in it and two of them were gone. Seriously, it looked my sweaters went through hell. Like they went through some really… crazy machine.
I simply wanted my money back, and I went in right before closing. The owner kept saying over and over, «I NO GIVE MONEY BACK» and he was SOOO unprofessional. He stuck is nose into my sweaters to smell them and said «I have good nose.» It was disgusting. He didn’t even apologize, all he said was that my sweaters were cheap. And then he lectured me about his 25 years of business and how he couldn’t give money back. It was just really… a horrible experience. I mean he was yelling at me, and I was just upset that I paid for him to ruin my sweaters.
Do NOT go here.

This week, I noticed that women’s button-down shirts cost almost twice as much to launder here as men’s. Been going here for years, and I never noticed that. I am familiar enough with me shirts to know there is nothing fancy about them, and no reason they should cost more then a comparable men’s shirt. i am pissed.
Also, this is the first time the laundered shirts were not ready on time, despite the fact that they’d had them for 3 days. I’ll go to Land Park Cleaners next time.
They did, however, fix a strap on a dress for me for $ 3.

Great place for a quick turnaround on your dry cleaning. I’ve never had anything happen to any of my clothes, and I always pick up the next day.
They’ve also done some minor repair work for me (replacing buttons, fixing hems), which they’ve always done right.

So, I just recently acquired a job that requires clothes to be dry cleaned as opposed to washed. Yes, I learned this the hard way!
Paul’s is great because it is close to where I live and much to my surprise they offer same day service. It can be done in as little as an hour! This is a huge plus for someone who uses up all their clothes before taking them in to be cleaned.
So if you find yourself with dirty clothes scattered around your room and the next work day rapidly approaching, head to Paul’s and they are sure to have you suited and booted in a jiffy!

Paul’s is located behind the old Bel Air on Florin Road. It can be a little difficult to find, but it is definitely one of the only places around that can do same day dry cleaning. You just have to go a bit early.
The dry cleaning is actually done on site, opposed to many of the store fronts that just collect /transport your clothes.
