The News Tribune Fort Florida St. Lucie Wednesday, November 13, 1985 Obituaries Tom Brown Tom (Uncle Tom) Brown, 82, of 527 N. 12th died Nov. 7 at his home. He was a native of Colquitt, and came to Fort Pierce from there 45 years ago.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Brown was employed by East Coast Lumber for 45 years. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and FAMPHA Lodge No. 155. Survivors include his wife, Anna Brown of Fort Pierce; three brothers, and Mose Bryant of Colquitt Andrew Bryant of Haines City, three stepdaughters, Brenda, Debra and Bonnie Johnson of Fort Pierce; a stepson, Gregory Johnson of Fort Pierce; and six stepgrandchildren.

The funeral will be today at 3:30 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. W.R. Roundtree officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends called Tuesday at Stone Bros. Funeral Home. Paul F. Marceau Monsignor Paul F. Marceau, 81, of Margate, died Monday, Nov.

11, at a hospital in Margate. A native of Niles, Ohio, the retired priest had lived in Port St. Lucie for 13 years before moving to Margate. He was ordained in 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, and served as assistant pastor at St. Mary's Church in Warren, Ohio; St.

Agnes Church in Cleveland, Ohio; and St. Paul's Church in Canton, Ohio. He was the pastor of St. Philip Neri Church in Dungannon, Ohio, and the founding pastor of Our Lady of Peace Church in Canton. He was named a monsignor in 1961 and retired to Florida in 1968.

He was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, serving as a chaplain in World War II. Survivors include a brother, LeRoy Marceau of Fairfield, Conn. The funeral will be today at 1 p.m. at Queen of the Holy Rosary Chapel in Vienna, Ohio.

Burial will be in St. Stephen's Catholic Church cemetery in Niles. Holeton Funeral Home of Niles is in charge of arrangements. Robert Reed Robert Reed, 46, of 1218 Canal Terrace, died Nov. 9 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Mississippi and came to Fort Pierce from there. Mr. Reed was a truck driver. Survivors include his mother, Martha B. Raglin of Mississippi.

The funeral and burial will be under direction of People Funeral Home, 319 W. North Canton, Miss. Sarah's Memorial Chapel is in charge of local arrangements. Edna Foster Edna Foster, 74, of 12063 S. Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach, died Tuesday at her home.

She was a native of Eldred, N.Y., and came to Jensen Beach from Long Island, N.Y., 12 years ago. She was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach. Survivors include eight brothers, Ray, George, Herbert, Daniel, Earl, Raymond and Arthur Foster of New York and Sidney Foster of Kissimmee; and Seminars on scholarships are offered High school and college students and their parents can attain information concerning college scholarships, loans and grants at seminars being held this week at Treasure Coast E.F. Hutton offices.

The downtown Fort Pierce office and the Stuart office of E.F. Hutton will host the seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Vero Beach office will host seminars tonight and Thursday and Friday nights. Frances Hart, office manager of the Fort Pierce office, said each of the seminars is free.

The Fort Pierce office, at 311 S. Second will be the site of the seminar in St. Lucie County. The Hutchinson Island Room of Indian River Plantation will be the site of the seminar in Martin County. The Vero Beach office of E.F.

Hutton will be the site of the three seminars in Indian River County, said George Ruding office manager. That office is located at 660 Beachland Blvd. Parents or students need not be residents of the county at which they attend the free seminars. Westwood's Cuomo wins state honor Charles Cuomo, assistant principal at Fort Pierce Westwood High School, has been named by the Florida Career Development Association as the Outstanding Individual Professional of the Year for 1985 for his contributions to career education. Cuomo was occupational specialist at Westwood for four years prior to his appointment at administrator this year.

He was honored at a breakfast ceremony in Orlando on Oct. 29. Cuomo's accomplishments in the field of career education include a wholesale marketing and work experience program for exceptional education students at Westwood; the design and publication of a district -level offering guide, "The High School the publication of a high school occupational information guide, "Solid the design and publication of a career information brochure, Great Escape," and participation in district and state leadership conferences. A member of the St. Lucie County school system for 12 years, Cuomo has been employed at Westwood for the past eight years.

He previously worked at Lincoln Park School. Jack Roberts, media center supervisor in the St. Lucie County school system and coodinator of career education, submitted Cuomo's name for nomination for the award. Boone of Fort Pierce; a son, John Taylor of Huntington, N.Y.; two brothers, Walter Jackson of Syracuse, N.Y., and Walter Thomas of Fort Pierce; two sisters, Margie Boone. of Oclocknee and Leatha Boone of Tampa; a sister-in-law, Lucille Woods of Fort Pierce; three grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m. at Greater Faith Temple of Deliverance with the Rev. Lafleur officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The plant was shut down in late October for refueling and inspection. Lucie nuclear plants is down. As of Tuesday, FPL had removed about a third of the fuel from the reactor and planned to have it all removed by Thursday. In a normal refueling operation, only a third of the fuel is removed. During this outage, FPL plans to remove all of it so FPL officials can get a look inside the reactor.
